HeadsUp 2.0 Skin by Bacanalia73 HeadsUp 2.0 Skin by Bacanalia73
I changed a few things in this version -- I shuffled the components around to make room for a new weather component, and I added a volume slider for the taskbar, which I think works much better than the stock Windows 7 volume (just set position to "Stay Topmost"). I also added a neat little feature that causes the glare component to disappear when you unplug your laptop, and reappear when you plug it back in. The taskbar is WindowBlinds MI6, if you are interested in such things. Let me know if you like it! (File update 1/7/2013 -- I added a slideshow component. If you want to download a SexySlideshow for this skin, go here: [link])(Designed for a 1600x900 resolution)

Awesome work Bacanalia73, really dig this. I just discovered Rainmeter today and I sifted through hundreds of other skins before landing on yours.

I'm also on a 1366x768 laptop display and the skin is off-center to the right after loading your layout. Is there a way to shift everything over at once, or would I have to define the coordinates one component at a time?

Hey thanks for the nice remarks -- to my knowledge, there is no way to move everything over at one time, but I am far from a Rainmeter expert. My advice is to use the x/y coordinate scale on the Manage Rainmeter screen. This way you can move each component over the exact same number of pixels.

how do get the taskbar? also what's the name of the wallpaper? I'm new to the Rainmeter scene so I'm not sure if the background and taskbar are supposed to autoload along with the skins, or if that's something I'm supposed to DL separately.

P.S. Awesome skin out of all that I have downloaded today (and I downloaded like alot!) I think I'll be keeping yours for awhile.

Hey Mballz, nice to have new addition to the Rainmeter community -- any questions you have, please ask and I will try to help. The wallpaper is included in the skin; just follow the path to > rainmeter/skins/headsup 1.0/Wallpaper.jpg, and set the wallpaper as your desktop. The taskbar is part of a program called Windowblinds, and the skin is called "MI6": [link]

Thanks for the positive feedback, and hope you enjoy the skin!
